Steve Cannon Introduces The
National Parks Project
The National Parks Project is Steve Cannon’s quest to visit and capture the beauty of all 64 U.S. National Parks, a journey that transformed into a passion for fine art photography.
The Journey Is The Reward

Born out of necessity, really.
It was 2020 and wanderlust finally won out.
I sold much of what I owned and moved the rest into storage. I hit the road in my newly refurbished, pimped-out, old folks' home shuttle bus.
The goal?
See all 64 National Parks in a year.
So far I have been an absolute failure.
4-plus years on the road.
33 National Parks in the bag.
Once you get to a park… turns out, they ain't so easy to leave.
The most fun "failure" of my life.
It became evident early on that a cell phone was NOT the right weapon.
Not only has this ongoing adventure allowed for the creation of this project, it birthed an entirely new career.
Fine Art Photography.
The camera has now taken me all around the world, and many of those images can be found here on my website.
It is my hope that The National Park Project will allow you to be a part of my journey.
Perhaps an image or two finds its way to your walls.
Even better, maybe it will inspire you to see a few more sunsets, explore new lands, and immerse yourself in the beauty that nature provides.
It's all out there.
Waiting for you.
All the best,
Steve
